Today I'll tell you about an alluring destination for your pre-wedding photoshoot. Situated on the northern side of West Bengal is the Queen of the Hills, Darjeeling. This little hill station is surrounded by the mighty Kanchenjunga mountain range making it a marvellous destination for your photoshoot. So, Grooms here is a list of places you should be heading to in Darjeeling to create and capture the best memories of your life.
The highest point of Darjeeling is Tiger Hill at a height of (8482 ft), just 11 km from the town of Darjeeling. One can adore the Kanchanjunga when the first rays of the sun shine upon it spreading pink and orange hues, which will add a lot of vibrancy and colour to your pictures. It will truly serenade your souls. Also, nothing else can be more refreshing than a hot cup of Darjeeling tea after posing for so long in the cold.
Darjeeling is world famous for its toy train ride. UNESCO has given it the title of the “most outstanding hill passenger railway”. You might have come across the same in many movies like Barfi and Parineeta. For you beautiful couple a photoshoot can be done at Batasia Loop. Batasia means an airy space, it is at a distance of 4 km from the town. I cannot even tell you how pretty will it be to shoot in the train and outside as well with the beautiful Kanchanjunga faintly present in the background. It will give your pictures a cinematic appeal and a picture which you can boast about in front of your friends.
This is another fantastic location situated nearly 10 km below from the town. The pull factor for tourists is that the garden area is created by cutting rocks at different levels leading to a waterfall. The waterfall is soothing and will help us click wonderful pictures. Our next stop will be Ganga Maya Park. This park has numerous little bridges built over a stream and large boulders of rocks on the stream which can become a prop for the couple to sit and pose.

I believe we have enough landscape outdoor shots now, it's time to discover the nightlife of Darjeeling and take some suave indoor evening shots of the beautiful club. For that ambience, there is Joey's Pub. It is a British style county pub, a perfect example of the old world charm. Some stunning shots of the couple enjoying carefree can be taken here.
Darjeeling has a very calm and serene offering in the form of the Mirik Lake which is situated at a distance of 50 km from Darjeeling. Do not worry as the drive to Mirik is heavenly with orange orchards, vast tea estates and pine trees to leave you in the awe of Darjeelings beauty. Mirik Lake is surrounded by towering pine trees and old huts that will serve as archaic backdrops for the pictures. The horses can also be a part of the photo shoot giving stunning aristocratic appeal to the pictures.
